Decorative, herringbone-textured cloth tape can add color to your blinds while reducing light and increasing privacy. The cloth tape replaces the standard string ladder, covering the route holes. View Colors

Privacy (Routeless) Feature ----> Price based on size
Reduce light and ensure privacy by ordering your 2" or 2-1/2" Wood, Synthetic Wood, and Crowned PVC Blinds with our Routeless Construction feature which places the route holes towards the back of the slats so when completely closed you eliminate the incoming light typical of standard routed horizontal blinds.

Routeless slats are less secure in the ladders than slats with lift cords running through the route holes. Slats may shift when blinds are lifted or tilted and may not settle back into position without adjustment. Handle with care.
Faux Wood Blinds are approximately 80% heavier than Basswood Blinds. The slats are very flexible and require additional support with closer ladder spacing and shorter end-routes.
Inside mount blinds - headrail and slats made 1/2" smaller than width ordered. Valance will be an 1/8" of an inch less than ordered width.
Outside mount blinds - headrail and slats made to exact width ordered. Valance will be 2" wider than ordered width.
Blinds less than 14" wide will have center wand tilter only - no lift control.
Blinds 14" wide to 21" must have split controls i.e. tilt left and lift right.
Mounting brackets are hinged, open boxes that can mount from the side, top or back of the window.

• Color Accuracy

Although the color scans on this web site were scanned with a very high quality scanner not all computer monitors are the same and do not necessarily display colors the same way. It is recommended that you have your video resolution adjusted to 800 x 600 or greater and your color depth set to 16 bit (high color) or 32 bit (true color). Most modern computers are capable of displaying 16.7 million colors at one time in 32 bit mode.

If an exact color match is required request a sample - if samples are available for the product you are interested in please request a swatch. Note: No refund or product exchanges will be offered over color related complaints unless a swatch sample is ordered in advance. The only exception would be in the event you receive a completely different colored blind than you ordered e.g. you ordered a red blind but receive a white blind instead.

• Warranty

Woodland Blinds warrants to the original purchaser that the product manufactured by Woodland Blinds is free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and as long as the product remains in the original window. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the product.

This warranty shall not apply to any of the parts that have failed due to accident, negligence, alterations, misuse, abuse, improper handling, installations, or maintenance. Failure to follow instructions for operating or installing the product, loss of color intensity due to exposure to the sun over a long time, exposure to salt air, or normal wear and tear will also void this warranty.

Woodland Blinds’ obligation under this warranty shall be limited to the repair or exchange of any parts or components that may prove defective in normal use within the life of the blind. Woodland Blinds reserves the right to inspect any product or component prior to repair, replacement, or refunding of the purchase price. In no event shall Woodland Blinds be liable for transportation costs to Woodland Blinds. Woodland Blinds will not be liable for cost of removal or re-installation of the product, or incidental damages.

The original purchaser shall be responsible for the transportation cost of the product to Woodland Blinds. No agent, representative dealer, or unauthorized employee of Woodland Blinds has the authority to increase or alter the obligation of this warranty.

Changes, Cancellations, and Refunds
Because our products are custom made to your specifications, they are not suitable for resale in the course of normal business. Cancellations or changes can only be made before production has begun (usually the next morning after an order is placed).

Color Disclaimer
Variations in color, grain, texture and warpage are natural and should not be considered to be defective. Over time, the color will soften in the sun to a mild, golden tone. Finish edges of the bamboo and large reed may crack after cutting and assembly due to the inherent property of natural material. We recommend that multiple shade orders of the same pattern be placed at one time.

Guidelines For A Perfect Fit

Measure each window individually, as size variances are common.
Record width first, then height (also referred to as length) to the nearest 1/8".
Measure width from left to right, height from top to bottom, using a steel tape measure. Do not use a cloth tape.

Horizontal Blinds and Shades Cellular Shades, Pleated Shades, Natural Shades, Roman Shades, Roller Shades, Solar Shades, Wood Blinds, Faux Wood Blinds and Horizontal Blinds

Inside Mount

Inside mount blinds and shades are installed inside the window casing. Minimum depth requirements vary by product and headrail type. Detailed information can be found under the "Specifications" tab on all product pages.
Measure the exact inside width of window casing from one inside edge to the other in three different places. Record the narrowest measurement.
Measure the exact height in three different places from top edge of opening to top of sill. Record the longest measurement. Solar Shades should be measured at the top only.
Do not take any deductions for clearance. The factory will take necessary deductions for a perfect fit.
Measure the window diagonally in two places, as shown. If the diagonal dimensions are not equal, we recommend an outside mount application for optimal function and aesthetics.

Outside Mount

Outside mount blinds and shades are installed outside the window casing, covering an area larger than the window itself.
Measure the exact width to be covered. Be sure the measurement overlaps the window opening by at least 1-1/2" on each side (3" total overlap) to ensure light control and privacy.
Measure exact height to be covered, including desired overlap (typically from top edge of molding to bottom edge, or to top of sill if there is one).
The factory makes NO allowances on outside mount.

Recommended Cleaning Methods:

Dusting: To maintain a like-new appearance, regular light dusting with a feather duster.
Vacuuming: For deeper cleaning, lightly vacuum with the upholstery attachment of any vacuum cleaner.
Soil Removal & Spot Cleaning: Spot clean with a soft cloth or sponge, a mild detergent and warm water. Blot gently and allow to dry completely.

Warning: Do not use strong detergents or spot removers. Dry cleaning and ultrasonic cleaning is not recommended.
